The Marble Whisperer (TMW) was created by Francesca Di Cola Malfatti, owner and creative director of Carrara based International Marble Enterprise (IME).
IME has been active in the marble industry for over 30 years.
Francesca is part of the Murray Fabbricotti marble dynasty, the family synonymous with Carrara marble since the 15th Century and has stone deep rooted in her DNA.
Francesca has learned everything from her father Luigi Di Cola, founder of IME, who is one of the most knowledgeable traders and consultants in the marble Industry. Further to this, she is a qualified interior designer, graduating from the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London.
At TMW we specialise in bespoke high-end residential projects, with most of our clients coming directly to us. We take great care to ensure our clients are looked after during every stage of their project. From selecting the material to the installation process, TMW provides a tailored, turnkey service. It is extremely important for us to educate our clients, so they understand the process, as we “whisper” and guide them towards the best options available. We feel this gives our clients the rare opportunity to see and touch the various stages of craftsmanship as their project develops.
In addition to this, we collaborate with industry leading Architectural and Interior Designing firms, Contractors and Artists, offering our expertise and services wherever they are required. Collaboration is key to the success of our projects, and we believe that as we share our ideas and unique knowledge of the industry, we provide the tools that help the designers and artists create the beautiful products and crafts that people know and love.

We aim to support and direct you every step of the way. From the selection of stone (sourced only from the most sustainable and respected suppliers that deal only with the highest quality marble/stone) to finalisation, we guide you. Initially we will assist you with the survey and drawing package and then the cutting process, where we use the most advanced technology and methods to ensure the quality of your stone. Following this we will introduce you to our specially selected Tuscan artisans, who provide the finest craftsmanship. Once this is all complete, we will guide you through the installation process and finally the project’s snagging list.
